Magnum 4D Jackpot is an extension of the 4D Classic game that offers players the chance to win big Jackpot prizes. It is easier to play 4D Jackpot as you just need to purchase a pair of your favorite 4D numbers. There are more prizes to be won and higher chances of winning as both the 4D numbers in your pair can also win prizes.

There is another distinct feature in Magnum 4D Jackpot game called Cascading. With Cascading, in any particular draw where Jackpot 1 is more than RM30 million and is still not won and, during that same draw, Jackpot 2 has one or more winners, the amount equivalent to Jackpot 1 minus RM20 million will be Cascaded and Added to the Jackpot 2 prize money to be distributed to and shared by all the Jackpot 2 winners. This means Jackpot 2 winners stand a chance to share a huge prize greater than RM10 million!

To further illustrate this Cascading feature :

Draw 123/09, Jackpot 1 Amount is RM32,000,000 and Jackpot 2 Amount is RM1,800,000.

If there is a Jackpot 1 winner, then the lucky winner will win the entire Jackpot 1 Prize of RM32,000,000.

If there is no Jackpot 1 winner and there are 1 or more Jackpot 2 winner(s), then RM12,000,000, i.e. the difference derived from (RM32,000,000 - RM20,000,000), will be added on to Jackpot 2. Jackpot 2 will then become RM13,800,000, i.e. the sum derived from (RM12,000,000 + RM1,800,000). This greatly increased sum of RM13,800,000 will be shared by all Jackpot 2 winner(s)! RM20,000,000 will however be retained in Jackpot 1.

What is the difference between "4D Jackpot Pau" and 4D Classic Permutation and 4D Classic mBox?

Answer
4D Jackpot Pau is also commonly called System Bet. It works as described below:

You have 5 favourite 4D numbers, instead of spending time to pair them up and buy all the 10 possible pairs individually, the System will automatically pair them for you. Only unique pairs are considered.

For example, if your 5 favourite 4D numbers are 1001, 2002, 3003, 4004 and 5005, when you buy 4D Jackpot Pau for these 5 numbers, the system will automatically pair them as follows:

If you invest RM2 for each pair of 4D Jackpot, you will now have to pay RM2 x 10pairs = RM20.

4D Classic Permutation

Depending on your 4D classic number, e.g. 1001, permutation of the number means you will buy all these numbers 1001, 1100, 0011, 1010, 0101, 0110. If you place a bet of RM1 on each number, you will then have to pay RM1 x 6 = RM6 for these 6 4D numbers.

4D Classic Mbox

If you place a bet of RM1 on 1001 Mbox , you will win a prize if any of the permutations of this number is a winning number, However, since you only need to pay a total of RM1 for all the possible permutations of the number, you will win a smaller prize as compared to 4D Classic Permutation. What do you mean by 1 pair of 4D numbers?

Answer
All you have to do is pick two (2) of your favourite 4D numbers from 0000 to 9999 to form a pair (eg, 1234 + 5678). Your favourite numbers could be your car number, birth date, anniversary or even your personal lucky number.

A minimum sum of RM2 is required to place your bet for your pair of two (2) 4D numbers. The pair of two (2) 4D numbers chosen is considered as one (1) bet.

What are the various ways I can buy 4D Jackpot?

There are many ways of playing the 4D Jackpot game to increase your chances of winning the Jackpot prizes. Examples of the various methods of play are given below.

Remember! You need two 4D numbers in order to make a pair to play the 4D Jackpot game.

Straight Play
This is where you explicitly select a pair of 4D numbers from 0000 to 9999.

Lucky Pick
In the event you don't know what 4D numbers to buy, go for Lucky Pick and our computer will randomly generate one or both 4D numbers for you.

Permutation
You can permutate ("Pau") either one or both of the 4D numbers.

Roll
You can "Roll" either one or both of the 4D numbers.

Rolling one of the 4 digits of a 4D number allows you to cover all possible numbers from 0 - 9 (10 digits) for that particular rolled digit. For example :

You can even COMBINE both permutation and roll to purchase multiple pairs of 4D numbers.

System Bet
With System Bet, you can cover all possible 2-number combinations or pairs formed from the 4D numbers picked. You can pick a minimum of 3 to a maximum of 20 4D numbers, hence System Bet 3 to System Bet 20. For example :

As illustrated above, if you choose to bet on a set of 4 4D numbers, known as System Bet 4, it is analogous to playing 6 combinations or pairs of 4D numbers. If you choose to bet on a set of 5 4D numbers, the number of pairs goes up to 10. Ultimately, the more numbers you bet on, the more number of pairs you would have and this naturally increases your chances of winning.

System Bet 3

Cascading of Jackpot 1 Prize To make this even more exciting for you, Magnum's unique 4D Jackpot game has this new feature whereby we greatly increase the Jackpot 2 amount by transferring into it part of the Jackpot 1 amount when Jackpot 1 grows to a certain size! The following illustration describes how Cascading works. In any particular draw where Jackpot 1 is greater than RM30 million and is still not won and, during that same draw, Jackpot 2 has one or more winners, the amount equivalent to Jackpot 1 minus RM20 million will be Cascaded and Added to the Jackpot 2 prize money to be distributed to and shared by all those Jackpot 2 winners. In such a Cascading scenario, winners of Jackpot 2 will share a hugely increased Jackpot 2 equivalent to the sum of the cascaded portion of Jackpot 1 and the original Jackpot 2. When there are 2 or more winners, this attractive amount will be divided amongst all the Jackpot 2 winners in accordance with their respective shares of the Jackpot 2. However, if there are also no winners for Jackpot 2 in that particular draw, then Cascading will not take place and Jackpot 1 will continue to grow as usual beyond RM30 million. So long as Jackpot 1 stays above RM30 million, there will potentially be a Cascade. Therefore, all players stand a chance to win the hugely increased Jackpot 2 that is always greater than RM10 million! What's more, it's 10 times easier to win Jackpot 2 when compared to winning Jackpot 1!

When there are 2 or more winners for any of the two Jackpot prizes, how is the Jackpot prize shared amongst the winners?

Answer
For Jackpot 1, the Jackpot 1 prize will be divided amongst the winners based solely on their respective bet amounts. Each unit bet of RM2 is entitled to one (1) share of the jackpot. A winner with a RM4 bet will have twice the share of a winner with a RM2 bet.

For Jackpot 2, the share of the Jackpot 2 prize is not based solely on the bet amount, it also depends on the number of Jackpot 2 prizes actually won by the winner. This is because, due to the fact that winning numbers can repeat, some bets may win more prizes than others. Therefore, the share of Jackpot 2 prize is based on the product of the number of prizes won and the bet amount.

If I buy System Bets, how do I know I have won and how many prizes I have won as system bet ticket does not display all the pairs actually bought?

Answer
Do not worry! For every of the System Bet tickets purchased, the System knows exactly all the pairs that have actually been purchased. Also, when you present your ticket at any of our Agency Outlets to claim your prize, the System knows which pairs have won and the amount won.

If I win 2 Classic 4D numbers, can I claim the prize from the 4D Jackpot as well?

Answer
Only if you have also placed a bet on these 4D numbers in the 4D Jackpot game. Although 4D Classic and 4D Jackpot are based on the same Draw Results, they are indeed different games. You must therefore purchase 4D Jackpot tickets separately in order to be eligible to win prizes in 4D Jackpot game.
